Austria Vignette Guide was founded to provide travellers in Austria and from abroad with a reliable, up-to-date and comprehensive information source about the Austrian highway vignette. Every traveller has the right to be clearly informed about applicable regulations.
We believe that well-informed travellers travel more safely and with less stress. That is why we provide all relevant information free of charge and without hidden agendas.

History
2018 – Founded
Founded as a direct response to the introduction of the e-vignette in Austria. Goal: clear information for travellers.
2019 – Expansion
Expanded information to include special toll routes, motorcycle tariffs and border regulations.
2020 – Crisis Period
During COVID-19, special information on border closures and exemption rules.
2021 – Multilingual
Introduction of multilingual content for international travellers.
2023 – Modernisation
Complete redesign with modern layout and improved usability.
2025 – Today
Continuous development and adaptation to new regulations and user needs.
